At the last meeting we discussed doing something for the hurricane victims of Florence. Since then, Michael has made a visit. Kevin Pilotte spoke to the council about all the things Catholic Charities-Raleigh is doing for the victims. The council voted to donate $700 from our account; Bill Piver donated the $250 he received as reimbursement from the food purchased for the International Food Festival; we than passed the hat and raised an additional $103. We will have a $1053.00 check delivered to their offices in Raleigh.
